Sale of a holiday let with the benefit of existing bookings

The client was selling a holiday let with the benefit of existing bookings for a value exceeding £4.5 million.

Claire successfully negotiated the terms of a Deed of Novation to ensure the new owners honoured the existing bookings for the sale to complete.

To complicate matters, there was also an ongoing insurance claim for some damage that a holiday maker had incurred to the kitchen floor.

Claire was able to aid the successful settlement of the claim to the Buyer’s satisfaction to make sure that this did not impact upon the sale.
