Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Bookkeeper to join our Trust & Tax Management division.

We are a leading law firm with a highly regarded Trust & Tax Management practice that supports trustees, beneficiaries and private clients with the accounting, tax compliance and administration of trusts and related private wealth structures, both regionally and nationally.

About the role

You will support the financial and compliance functions of the team by maintaining accurate trust accounting records, preparing financial reports, supporting tax return preparation and assisting with ongoing financial compliance activities.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a dedicated bookkeeping professional with strong trust accounting skills and a desire to work in an expert legal-led trust and tax environment who has:

• Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally with exposure to trust accounting or private client trust work
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and trust accounting practices
• Experience preparing annual accounts and reconciliations
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with clients and professional advisers
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
