We are looking for an experienced Private Client lawyer to join our leading regional law firm in Tunbridge Wells as a Partner in our Wills, Estate & Tax Planning division.
We are a highly respected and long-established regional law firm, recognised for our exceptional client service and deep roots in the South East region. With a strong reputation in private client work, our Estates, Tax & Succession department plays a pivotal role in advising individuals, families, and business owners on complex estate planning, tax structuring, and succession matters.
The role
We are seeking a driven and accomplished Private Client Partner (or an ambitious Senior Associate with a clear pathway to partnership) to join our expanding Wills, Estate & Tax Planning division. This is a rare opportunity to take on a strategic role within a collaborative and forward-thinking team, with the full support of a progressive, well-managed firm.
You will work with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, landowners, and trustees on matters including:
- Estate and inheritance tax planning
- Wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney
- Lifetime giving and philanthropic planning
- Cross-border estate issues
What we are looking for
- A qualified solicitor or legal executive with extensive experience in private client law
- STEP qualification (or working towards) is preferred
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness
- A collaborative mindset and leadership capability
