Law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore is making 21 promotions and appointments across the firm.
Faye Cook in the Corporate & Commercial team has been appointed as an Equity Partner from 6 June 2026. Alan Kitcher, Head of Trust & Tax Management, will be appointed as an Equity Partner subject to the regulatory requirements being completed to enable a non-lawyer to become an Equity Partner. Once these regulatory requirements are completed, Alan – who is a Certified Chartered Accountant – will be the first non-lawyer to become an Equity Partner at the firm.
Promoted to Salaried Partner are Sarah Nettleship – Wills, Estate & Tax Planning, Sarah Lister – Probate, Guy Evans – Real Estate Disputes and Katherine Morgan and Robert Trench, both in the Real Estate team.
Business services promotions are Jonathan Simmons in Information Services, Kelly Garrett in Finance and Poppy Bobbett in HR. Other promotions come from across the firm’s Court of Protection, Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury, Dispute Resolution and Real Estate teams.
These promotions underscore the firm’s ongoing commitment to investing in its talent and creating teams with the depth and breadth of expertise required to guide clients through increasingly complex and shifting legal challenges, against a backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty.
Joanna Pratt, Senior Partner at Thomson Snell & Passmore comments: “Congratulations to everyone on these well‑deserved promotions. Each reflects the calibre of our people and the meaningful contribution they make to the firm, our clients, and each other.
“As a strong, independent firm, our success is largely built on the quality of our people and the culture we create around them. These promotions are not only recognition of individual achievement, but also a clear signal of our commitment to investing in our talent, and ensuring they have the right tools, opportunities and environment to develop and excel.
“We are proud of our culture that is supportive, friendly and hardworking, where high performance goes hand‑in‑hand with genuine care for one another. It is through the hard work and dedication of our colleagues that we continue to grow and deliver for our clients. I want to thank everyone across the firm, from both our legal and business services teams, for their contribution.”
