Gemma Summerton

Gemma joined Thomson Snell and Passmore’s Probate team as a Paralegal in 2025. She previously worked in a private client team where she assisted on a wide range of probate, estate planning and trust matters.

Gemma has experience supporting all aspects of probate and estate administration, including inheritance tax reporting, advising on exemptions and reliefs, preparing grant applications and drafting deeds of variation.

Education

Gemma graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Management from Nottingham Trent University, before completing a Law Conversion Master’s at the University of Brighton. Gemma has passed the first Solicitors Qualification Exam (SQE1) and is preparing to complete the second examination (SQE 2).
